A Week of Faith, Community, and Jaguar Pride!
Dear Jaguar Families,
As we reflect on another wonderful week at Our Lady of Lourdes, we are reminded of how blessed we are to be part of a community where faith, learning, and togetherness continue to shine in so many beautiful ways.
Our week began with Red Ribbon Week, thoughtfully organized by Mrs. Emily Menendez, reminding our students of the importance of making healthy choices and caring for the gifts God has given us. We also gathered as a faculty and staff for our Staff Mass, organized by Dr. Arrazola and Mrs. Acosta, as we prepared to celebrate All Saints’ Day.
Our second graders brought this celebration to life by dressing as various saints, including St. Thérèse, St. Elizabeth, St. Bernadette, and Our Lady of Lourdes. Seeing our youngest learners was a beautiful reminder that even our children can inspire others through their faith, kindness, and love for God.
We were also delighted to welcome more than 130 prospective families to our Open House, organized by Mrs. Figueroa. It was a joy to share the heart of Our Lady of Lourdes with so many families and give them a glimpse of the faith-filled, nurturing, and vibrant community that makes our school so special. We are grateful to everyone who helped make the evening a success.
As the week came to a close, our Jaguars enjoyed a little Halloween spirit with a dress-down day featuring festive tops and spooky socks! Our Drama students also kicked off their afternoon Jaguar Fuel "cafecito and croquetas" fundraiser, which was a tremendous success. Thank you to our Jaguar parents for your continued generosity and support. Your willingness to participate in our school activities and encourage our students makes such a difference and reminds us that our school is strongest when we work together.
As we look ahead to Sunday, we also encourage you to attend Mass in celebration of All Saints’ Day, honoring the holy men and women who remind us to live with faith, kindness, and love. May their example inspire us to be the light of Christ in our homes, our school, and our community.
May Our Lady of Lourdes continue to bless our Jaguar Nation!

Together we shine, let peace begin...
