Dear Parents,

Thank you for choosing Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School. We had a wonderful year and look forward to an exciting 2017-2018 school year.

The following documents will be posted on the website over the summer:

  1. Summer Assignments by grade levels for grades 1-8. These are required assignments that will be graded and are due on the first day of school.
  2. Summer tutoring requirement verification form (for returning students who require tutoring)
  3. School Calendar
  4. Supplies Information
  5. Uniform Information
  6. Drop off and pick-up information
  7. Volunteer Information (for new volunteers).
  8. After School Care Program policies and procedures handbook and fee schedule.
  9. Athletic Pre-participation Physical Evaluation and Consent and Release of Liability Certificate form.
  10. Student absence letter.
  11. Authorization for medication (required for all prescription and any over the counter medications, ointments, creams, etc.)

The school office will open for business from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. between June 14 and June 23. The office will reopen on August 7th at 8:00 a.m. The first tuition payment is due in July and the last payment is due in May. Tuition will be payable through FACTS Tuition Management. A late fee of $30.00 will be added if payment is not received by the due date you have chosen.

For those families that have paid the school building fund in full by June of 2017, there will be a school maintenance fund of $400.00 billed to you in July.  You will have the option to pay the full amount in  July or make two payments of $200.00 each, one in July 2017 and one in January of 2018.

The Parent Orientation night is on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 7:30 P.M. in the classrooms. This is for parents only. Please do not bring the children. You will have the opportunity to drop off supplies during the orientation meeting. You will receive important information to assure your child’s success at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School.  All parents are expected to attend.

Student Orientation and first day of school for ALL grade levels is on August 21, 2017. Students will be dressed in uniform and bring lunch from home. This will be a full day of school. The cafeteria will not serve lunch on the first day of school. The first bell rings at 7:30 a.m. and students are tardy at the 7:45
a.m. bell. Parents are welcome to bring the children into the building on the first day and visit in the classroom for a while. We will serve coffee for the parents in the cafeteria. Stop by and visit with other parents.

Dismissal is at 2:45 and 3:00 p.m. Please follow the drop off and pick up procedures on this and subsequent days. Stay in your cars and allow the staff and volunteers to help you. After School Care will be available starting on the first day of school.

The Health Department requires that all students have their health forms (blue and yellow) on file before starting school. We cannot allow your child to begin attending school without the forms.

Students entering 7th grade will need additional shots. Please contact your family doctor or pediatrician for information prior to orientation.

Teachers will send a “Welcome to My Class” note to the students over the summer. This note will inform you of which homeroom your child was assigned to.
