Dear OLOL Parents,
This week's highlights at Jaguar Nation:
Yearbook Sports Pictures
Our students had their sports photos taken for the yearbook. We can’t wait to see the final product!
9/11 Remembrance Day
Aside from our students having a dress-down day to represent our nation's flag colors, we held a moment of silence and prayer to honor and remember those affected by the September 11th attacks. It was a meaningful time for reflection and respect.
8th Grade Informational Meeting
We had an informative meeting for 8th-grade parents to discuss important details about the transition to high school. This session provided valuable information to help families prepare for the upcoming changes and the application process.
Lockdown Drill
We conducted a lockdown drill this week with the assistance of a local officer. The officer was on-site to guide the drill and offer suggestions for improvement, ensuring our procedures were as effective as possible.
Grandparents Day
We celebrated Grandparents Day on Friday, with a special mass and classroom visit. It was wonderful to see grandparents visit the school and receive a commemorative Angel Pocket Coin as a token of our appreciation. "Grandparents are a special part of our lives, bringing wisdom, warmth, and love. Their presence is a treasured gift that enriches our school community."
As you enjoy the weekend, I encourage you to take some time to attend mass as a family and cherish these moments together.
God is good... #jaguarangels
