Dear Jaguar Families,
What a wonderful week it has been at Jaguar Nation! Our campus continues to be filled with learning, excitement, teamwork, and opportunities for our students to discover their gift.
📚 Fall i-Ready Testing Begins
This week, our students began their Fall i-Ready Diagnostic assessments. These assessments give our teachers valuable insight into each student's academic strengths and areas for growth, allowing us to better tailor instruction and provide the support or enrichment each child needs. We encourage our students to do their best, take their time, and remember that these assessments are simply one tool that helps us support their learning.
🎶 Choir Auditions
Our hallways were filled with beautiful voices this week as Choir Auditions took place! We were so proud to see our students step forward, share their talents, and build confidence. We look forward to watching our choir shine throughout the year!
🏀 After-School Sports
The excitement continued with tryouts for our after-school sports programs. It was wonderful to see our students demonstrate athletic ability, determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We also welcomed parents of prospective athletes to our Sports Parent Meeting, where expectations and the importance of representing our school with pride were discussed. We look forward to a fantastic season for our Jaguar athletes!
🦺 Safety Patrols Begin
Our Safety Patrols officially began their service this week! These student leaders have accepted an important responsibility to help promote safety and order throughout our campus. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to develop responsibility, confidence, and leadership while serving others. We are very proud of them!
🍕 Papa John's Nifty Fifty
Our Papa John's Nifty Fifty fundraiser is underway! Thank you to our families for supporting this initiative and helping the drama club reach their goal. Every order makes a difference and helps support our Lion King superstars.
🦁 The Lion King
The excitement is building for our upcoming The Lion King production! Students may purchase their special Lion King T-shirts, giving our Jaguar community another fun way to show their support. We cannot wait to see our talented students bring this wonderful production to life!
💧 Gestures of the Water (Gestes de l'Eau)
This Saturday, our Jaguar families are invited to participate in a very special experience, Gestures of the Water (Gestes de l'Eau).
We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to experience the healing water from Lourdes, France, right here in our community. This beautiful experience offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, pray, and experience a meaningful connection to Lourdes and its message of hope and healing.
We encourage our families to take advantage of this unique opportunity and share in this beautiful experience together.
As we close another wonderful week, we are grateful for our students, faculty, staff, and families who continue to make OLOL such a special community. Thank you for your continued partnership and support!
