This week was filled with faith, fellowship, leadership, and plenty of school spirit. From the beautiful presence of Jesus in our school to an exciting outing for our 7th graders, celebrating our newest National Junior Honor Society members, and looking forward to tonight’s Welcome Dance, there has been so much to celebrate!
Jesus Comes to School
One of the most beautiful moments of our week was welcoming Jesus into our school. His presence provided our students and faculty with a special opportunity to pause, pray, and reflect on the importance of keeping Christ at the center of all that we do.
It was especially meaningful to see our students approach this sacred moment with reverence, respect, and prayer. In the stillness of the moment, our students were reminded that Jesus is always present with us, not only in our church, but also within our school, our classrooms, and our daily lives.
Having Jesus present in our school is a beautiful reminder of our Catholic identity and of the faith that guides us each day. We pray that our students continue to carry this sense of reverence with them, allowing their faith to shape the way they learn, serve, speak to one another, and care for those around them.
7th Grade Bulldog Bash at Archbishop Coleman Carroll
Our 7th graders had an exciting opportunity to participate in the Bulldog Bash at Archbishop Coleman Carroll! This event brought students together for a day filled with school spirit, fellowship, and fun.
Events like Bulldog Bash allow our students to create lasting memories and experience the sense of community that comes with being part of something bigger than themselves. Our 7th graders represented our school and enjoyed the opportunity to connect with other students while celebrating their school spirit.
A big thank-you to everyone who helped organize and supervise this wonderful experience for our students.
National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony
This week, we also had the privilege of celebrating an important milestone for our students during our National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony.
This ceremony recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence not only in academics, but also in areas such as leadership, service, character, and citizenship. Being inducted into the National Junior Honor Society is a meaningful accomplishment and a reflection of the hard work and dedication these students have demonstrated.
We are incredibly proud of our newest inductees and look forward to watching them continue to lead by example. Membership comes with both an honor and a responsibility, and we encourage our students to use their leadership abilities to serve others and make a positive difference within our school and community.

Tonight: Welcome Dance...Neon Lights!
And the fun continues tonight!
We are excited to welcome our middle school students to our Welcome Dance, featuring a Neon Lights theme! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to come together, enjoy some music, show off their school spirit, and celebrate the beginning of another great school year.
We can't wait to see our students dressed in their brightest neon colors and ready to have a fantastic evening with their friends. A special thank-you goes to our Student Council and everyone who has worked behind the scenes to organize, decorate, and prepare for this event.
Most importantly, we hope our students have a safe, fun, and memorable evening. Let's light up the night and officially kick off the school year with some Neon Lights!
Looking Ahead
It has been a fantastic week filled with moments that remind us what makes our school community so special. From growing in faith to recognizing student leadership and celebrating together, our students continue to make us proud.
