What a Beautiful First Week, Jaguar Families!
What a beautiful way to begin our new school year! This first week has been filled with joy, excitement, and so many moments that reminded us of what makes Our Lady of Lourdes such a special community.
Our week began with our amazing teachers putting the finishing touches on their classrooms and preparing to welcome our Jaguars. Of course, a little sweet treat from Crazy Bubble Waffles Truck helped make the preparations even sweeter!
On Monday morning, Monsignor blessed our classrooms, praying that each room would be a place where our children feel loved, supported, and guided by God throughout the year. What a beautiful and meaningful way to begin our new school year and place our classrooms, teachers, and students in God’s hands.
Then came Back to School Night, and what a joy it was to welcome our families back! Seeing the excitement on parents’ faces as they visited classrooms, met teachers, and prepared for a new year was truly heartwarming. We may have been just as excited to see you as you were to see us! It was wonderful to feel the energy and anticipation throughout our campus.
On Tuesday, we welcomed our Jaguars back to school! The smiles, hugs, nervousness, excitement, some tears, and happy reunions reminded us just how special the first day of school truly is. We were especially blessed to celebrate our first School Mass, surrounded by so many of our parents and grandparents. Having our families join us in prayer was a beautiful reminder that we are never alone in this journey of educating and nurturing our children...we do it together.
May this year be filled with faith, peace, joy, and countless opportunities to remind our children that they are loved beyond measure.
