Welcome Back, Jaguar Families!
We hope you and your families enjoyed a joyful and restful Christmas break. It has been wonderful welcoming our students back to campus and jumping right into an exciting and spirited week at school!
We kicked things off with the launch of ticket sales for The Little Mermaid Jr. The excitement is already building, and our kickoff dress-down day was a true hit... Thank you, Jaguar Nation, for showing your school spirit!
Our 5th-grade students had an incredible learning experience at the Deering Estate, where they explored ecosystems through hands-on activities and real-world connections. Learning truly came to life outside the classroom.
Of course, no proud Miamian could let the week pass without roaring for the Canes, and Jaguar Nation did not disappoint! Our Canes dress-down day made Mrs. Jaca and her husband, Mr. Baez, especially proud as our students and staff showed their Miami pride loud and clear.
We wrapped up the week with our faculty and staff participating in a professional development session centered on reflection and growth, rooted in our continued school theme, “On Good Ground.” It was a meaningful and inspiring way to end a full and rewarding week.
Campus Updates – BIG News!
- The basketball courts are almost complete! The color and lines are finished, and the new hoops will be installed next week.
- Even bigger news about our track...construction is expected to be completed after the Carnival, and we are thrilled to share that our school has been chosen as the showcase school for a new professional track surface! We cannot wait for our Jaguars to enjoy this incredible new addition. God is good!
