About Myself

I have taught in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Louisiana.

In the past, I have work on Student Council and Cheerleading. I participate in the events wherever I am needed.

When I was a child, I knew I always wanted to be a teacher. When I was in college I decided that teaching was my true calling. My mother was a Kindergarten teacher for many years at St. Thomas the Apostle and I grew up wanting to be just like her.

Praying with children is always inspiring.

My hobbie is to repurpose old furniture.

Outside of Jaguars

I miss all the wonderful and inspirational teachers that I have met on my teaching journey.

My 3 kids have all been born in different states... Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana. We moved so my husband could pursue his career in college football. We are now part of the University of Miami Football Family. Let's Go Canes! My oldest son Robbie is a sophomore at the University of Miami. He is majoring in biology and would like to be a doctor. My daughter Chloe and youngest son Jorgie are students at OLOL.

We have 2 dogs: Bella, the Boxer, and Charlie, the Mini Goldendoodle.

When I am not in the classroom, I am driving my kids around town to their sports practices. I also love going to football games and watching football. I enjoy going to the beach and boating.

The top 5 five virtues I believe a student should try to acquire are pespect, kindness, honesty, patience, and gratitude.

Always try your best.

Jaguar Memories

  • I've been hired at OLOL 3 different times..... I just can't stay away.
  • My best best memory as a teacher is when I was teaching 2nd Grade in Tennessee, a news crew surprised me as the Tennessee Lottery Teacher of the week. I was interviewed with my students and was on the local news.
  • My favorite project is Tom the Turkey.... I love to see all the disguised turkeys.
  • My favorite event of the year is the Way of the Cross.
